Christopher’s five albums include “Lost Boy,” “Ithaka,” “Automne,” “Love Again,” and “Winter Walk.”
“Lost Boy” is an album of impressionistic piano music that was written and recorded in Aix-en-Provence, France. The tracks were inspired by time spent studying and walking in the steps of Cézanne. The album encourages listeners to reflect on their past and present values and walk the path that most fulfills them.
Inspired by Benos’s Greek roots and the stories of antiquity, “Ithaka,” draws inspiration from the beauty of the Mediterranean. Written and recorded in Europe, the music is a culmination of time spent in Greece and is built around the story of Odysseus. The album’s narrative encourages listeners to appreciate the sounds, colors, and culture of the present moment and to live for the journey, wherever that may take them.
“Automne” is an album of music inspired by Christopher’s time in the Appalachian mountains. The songs describe the sounds of fall and allude to the metaphor of autumn as a time of change in life. The album encourages listeners to appreciate the ephemeral and to take risks for ideas and people they care about.
“Love Again” is an album written and recorded in China. Its tracks describe universal themes of love and longing. The album reminds listeners to celebrate the people they love and fight for what brings them joy.
“Winter Walk” is an album written and recorded in rural Pennsylvania. The album is dedicated to a mentor and to a loved family member. The songs take listeners on a walk through the hibernal beauty of snow and frost and encourage everyone to dream about new beginnings that await on the horizon.
